BOCA RATON – St. Andrew’s (5-1) and Boynton Beach (5-2) are both on respective winning streaks coming into this district matchup.
St. Andrews has a five-game winning streak going right now. It has been pummeling opponents in each of its past five games.
The Scots have outscored opponents by score of 245-58. Of those points allowed, 35 came last week against North Broward Prep, even though they still managed to earn a 62-35 blowout win on homecoming night.
Head coach Jimmy Robertson and his staff have the Scots clicking on all cylinders right now, to say the least.
On offense, the trio of quarterback Jacob Cashion, Billy Young, and Teddy Hoffmann has been lethal.
Here is a list of their stats, which you can see below:
•Cashion – 70-of-96 passing for 1,057 yards and 12 touchdowns; 57 rushes for 544 yards and 12 touchdowns
•Young – 63 rushes for 554 yards and 12 touchdowns; two receiving touchdowns
•Hoffmann – 21 receptions for 409 yards and seven touchdowns

BOYNTON BEACH
Boynton Beach is currently on a four-game win streak where it has outscored opponents by a score of 155-35.
The Tigers have been taking care of business on both sides of the ball right now. They are coming off a hard-fought 10-7 win over Seminole Ridge.
Junior defensive lineman Jamarous Thomas aided in the Tigers victory with a strip and fumble recovery that put his team in field goal range with less than a minute left in the game.
Junior Derek Cole sealed the game with a 22-yarder in the final seconds.
The Tigers gave some of the best running backs in the county on their offensive unit. Bobby Smith Jr., Bobby “Phat” Smith, and Marc Arcelin all playing bully ball in the Tigers wing T offense.
•Bobby Smith Jr. – 60 rushes, 543 yards, three rushing touchdowns, one receiving touchdown
•Bobby T. Smith – 38 rushes, 424 yards, seven touchdowns; 142 receiving yards, one receiving touchdown
•Arcelin – 38 rushes, 700 yards, five touchdowns
Senior quarterback Tyrone Smith has been a staple in the Tigers offense since his freshman year, when he threw for over 1,000 yards. To date, Tyrone has been more versatile as a quarterback, getting it done on the ground and in the air.
•Tyrone Smith – 19-for-27, 575 yards, six touchdowns; 15 rushes, 111 yards, seven touchdowns
On the defensive side of the ball, the Tigers front seven is led by defensive linemen Thomas and Joshua Lewis. They can really control the line of scrimmage and make it hard for any team to run the ball.
Senior linebacker Riger Dorsainvil could be a Breakthrough Player of the Game candidate. He has been developing well this season by getting more comfortable at the middle linebacker spot.
Dorsainvil and fellow senior Dimanksy Jean-Claude come off the edge for Boynton Beach.
Senior cornerback Ohmari Black will be a player to watch for the Tigers defense. Black has the ability to lock down a team’s No. 1 receiver.
We will be looking forward to a Black vs. Hoffman direct matchup when the ball is in the air.
Both teams are in the midst of fighting for respect in Palm Beach County as teams to watch.
This St. Andrew’s-Boynton Beach tilt is our Game of Week 8.
The kickoff starts at 6 p.m. today (Thursday, Oct. 13) in Boca Raton.
