Takeover performance from Donaldson keeps the Hurricanes streaking in conference play
The Miami Hurricanes (14-2) continued their hot streak today, extending their winning streak to nine games after taking down Georgia Tech (10-7), 91-81.
The Hurricanes not once trailed in this game, getting off to a hot 15-2 start and entering the half up 47-33. Georgia Tech would outscore Miami in the 2nd half, but it wasn’t enough as Miami continued to thrive on both ends of the floor.
Miami’s Tre Donaldson, the transfer guard from Michigan, had a career day putting up a new career high in points with 27 (8-13 FG), while also adding 10 assists and 3 steals. Today’s game marked the 5th double-double of the season for Donaldson, and his 5th game surpassing 20+ points.
