CORAL GABLES – It was a very productive night for the Miami Hurricanes offense as all five starters secured a double digit point performance.

However, leading the pack tonight was Norchad Omier who put up a double-double performance tonight, as he grabbed 18 rebounds and scored 20 points.

Miami started off the game with a 8-0 stretch which had set the tempo for the 1st half. Guards Matthew Cleveland and Wooga Poplar had set a commanding tone for the Hurricanes offense combining for 25 of the teams 54 points heading into halftime.

At halftime the game had already become out of reach as the Hurricanes had a 27 point gap over their opponents.

Coming out of halftime, Miami had picked up right where they had left off. Miami’s offense was highlighted by Norchad Omier’s dominant performance in the paint, with around eight minutes left in the game he would have 15 rebounds on the night and wasn’t even close to being finished. With six and a half minutes left in the game, the Hurricanes lead had officially peaked at a 40 point gap, making this game completely out of reach.

The final score from the Watsco Center would be 97-59. The Hurricanes will be back home again on December 29th as they look to defend the house against UNF.
