The following statement may come as a shocking revelation to anyone that’s even mildly invested in South Florida High School sports: West Boca Running back Javian Mallory is REALLY good at football.
Tonight the #3 West Boca Raton Bulls traveled to Delray Beach to face the #1 Atlantic High Eagles in a battle that many had circled on their calendar as the “561 Game of the Year”. Honestly, it’s a pretty safe assumption to make, seeing as one of South Florida’s Blue Blood programs was squaring off against the biggest stock riser of the last calendar year.
Games like this can thrust unknown players into superstardom, or cement those stars as legends under the lights. As every carry becomes one more closer to his final one in Navy and Gold, West Boca’s Senior RB Javian Mallory made it his mission to remind everyone “who runs this county”. The 4-Star Miami commit was electric tonight, totaling 190 all purpose yards and three total touchdowns (2 Rush, 1 Rec.) on the night.
Over the years, Javian Mallory has been known to turn an opposing defensive coordinator’s week into the stuff of horror movies. The 6 foot 1, University of Miami commit has become the standard for elite backfield play to arise from the tri-county area. He’s strong, well balanced, and possesses elite break-away speed; but most importantly of all- Javian Mallory has the refusal to go down on a less than favorable gain. As the evening goes on, regardless of the situation, Mallory just chips away at the opposing front seven, before finally breaking off that home run carry.

When reflecting on tonight’s win over the Eagles, Mallory was all smiles and had this to say:
“Man i’m blessed to be In the position I’m in! I give all glory to God” Javian said. “My OLine deserves all the credit, the whole team did their thing today. I performed the way I did tonight because of my team.”
The leading Bull-rusher would go onto continue with:
“I’ve worked my whole life for this, to be THAT guy. I honestly don’t know what else to say other than I’m blessed.”
