Boca Raton, FL.- And we’re down to seven!

West Boca’s 4-Star DB Jaydin Broadnax (’26) has narrowed his recruitment process down to a final seven schools. Broadnax, a 6 foot 2 corner from Boca Raton, Florida, has been one of the most sought after DB’s in the 2026 class, currently holding 32 Division I FBS Offers. Jaydin Broadnax was a key part of West Boca’s 2024 FHSAA State Title victory, as he turned the left side of the field into an island. For the poor QB’s who had to attempt to throw on Jaydin Broadnax, it wasn’t an easy feat, as he recorded 30 targets all year, allowing only 9 catches for 60 yards and 0 TD’s, alongside 14 Pass Breakups, 1 Interception and 39 Tackles.

After such a lengthy recruiting process, Jaydin Broadnax has officially narrowed his list down to a top 7 schools: Michigan, Auburn, Florida State, Florida, Louisville, USF, and Syracuse.

After a brief interview with Jaydin, let’s break down each of these seven schools to see what’s stood out about them in his recruiting process:

Louisville: “Everytime I’m at Louisville they make me feel as if I’m apart of the team already.” Broadnax shared “Coach Ellis has been recruiting me very hard for many months and I know that’s a guy that can develop me into what I want to become as a man and player.”

Florida State: “FSU is great, you can tell the staff is full of people that want to get everything out of you.” Jaydin stated “I’ve taken many visits that have played a huge part putting them high in my recruitment. Most importantly, their resume of elite DB’s speaks for itself. Deion Sanders, Jalen Ramsey, Asante Samuel, the list goes on and on. I want to be the next one on that list.”

Auburn: Auburn is a program that’s been trending in the right direction ever since Coach Freeze got there. They have a great DB coach (Coach Crime), that is player first always. I can tell he’d run through a wall for his players, and that’s something I look for in a Coach.”

Michigan: “Michigan has and will always be a success program. They have winners in the program and people that will do anything to see their players succeed. I have an amazing relationship with Coach Morgan, I truly feel like I connect with him more and more every time we talk. Michigan’s had some elite DB’s in recent memory, I see a lot of my game in Will Johnson, so I know I could come in and provide the same game changing impact he did.”

Syracuse: “Syracuse proved a lot of people wrong this season like I knew they would. When I visited, I could see why they’d win. Coach Fran is the type of Head Coach you’d give your all for and run through a wall for.”

South Florida: “Coach DVD might be the realest coaches I’ve ever met. He believed in me before a lot did, offering very early in my recruitment and his resume speaks for itself. USF is a program that is about to be on top of the G5 really soon.”

Florida: Florida has always been my dream school since I started watching football. Seeing how they turned things around this season really showed me that everyone in that program is bought into what Coach Napier is doing. Coach Harris is also an amazing teacher and very hands on in his coaching when I watched him at spring practice, that’s something I want from a Coach.”
