SOUTHBEND, IN.- Breaking News: Saint Andrew’s duel sport star, Dylan Faison (2026) announces his commitment to the University of Notre Dame.

Dylan Faison, a 6 foot, Three-star football and lacrosse recruit, announced his commitment on Monday, March 18 via his Instagram and Twitter accounts. Faison dropped the commitment just one day after receiving the Fighting Irish’s offer.

When asked about his commitment to play at Notre Dame, Dylan said:

“It’s truly a blessing to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at the University of Notre Dame!” Faison said. “I’d like to thank God, my family my coaches for helping me achieve this goal. The reason I chose ND is because the community made me feel like it was home, and ND prepares me for life after sports.”

As previously stated, Faison is an elite player in both football and lacrosse. Following a stand out sophomore season, Dylan Faison was rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com. In 2023, Faison recorded 18 receptions, 500 yards and 8 touchdowns. Dylan’s breakout season was a big reason why the Saint Andrew’s Scot’s secured their first District Championship since the 1980’s.

Halfway though the lacrosse season, Faison has taken the country by storm, recording 55 goals and 26 assists. Currently, Dylan’s dominance is putting St. Andrew’s on the map as one of the premier lacrosse programs in the country, while proving why he’s the top recruit in the class of 2026.

The Faison family is quite familiar to Southbend, Indiana, as Dylan’s older brother, Jordan Faison exploded into the hearts of Irish fans this season. Leading into his true freshman season, Jordan Faison walked onto Notre Dame’s football team. Unlike most freshmen walk-on’s, Fasion earned a starting job and never wavered.

During the 2023 season, Jordan Faison recorded 19 receptions, 322 yards and 4 touchdowns. The highlight of Faison’s storybook season was during the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl, as he recorded 5 receptions, 115 yards and 1 touchdown in Notre Dame’s victory against Oregon State. This impressive stat line secured Jordan the Bowl Game MVP.

Dylan Faison looks to build off of his impressive sophomore seasons by being the Scots’ main target going forward. Congratulations Dylan on your commitment to Notre Dame!
