GAINESVILLE – The third weekly edition of the FHSAA’s RPI team ratings has been released today (Oct. 6).

While Palm Beach Central (5-0) remains as our area’s No. 1-rated team (No. 8 overall; 0.762 in the latest FHSAA RPI), it is Boca Raton (4-1) with perhaps the most significant move up this week. The Bobcats improve from No. 5 to No. 4 in our area’s FHSAA RPI ratings due to their 32-spot jump from No. 97 in the state last week to No. 65 in the state this week (0.658).

Holding steady – for the most part – is Dwyer (4-1), which is at No. 62 overall and 0.661 in the latest FHSAA RPI ratings. The Panthers drop one spot from No. 2 to No. 3 in our area’s FHSAA RPI, but improve three spots from last week’s rating of No. 65.

The fourth and final Palm Beach County high school football program in this week’s FHSAA RPI Top 100 is Benjamin (4-1), which moves up from No. 4 to No. 2 in our area’s FHSAA RPI due to its overall rating of 0.670 (No. 53 in the state; up 23 spots from No. 76).
