GAINESVILLE – For the first time this season, the FHSAA has released its RPI ratings for all of the state’s teams from
Classes 8A through 1A.
The FHSAA RPI ratings were revealed on Wednesday (Sept. 22).
The RPI (ratings percentage index) takes into account the following: wins, losses, quality of wins, quality of losses, and strength of schedule. This formula will remain the same throughout the regular season, but the ratings will be fluid each week.
It is only Week 1 of the FHSAA RPI ratings. We will have up to six more updates from next week until early November.
For now, here is a list of where our Top 10 local teams stand among the state’s best.
