Palm Beach County, FL.- We’re about a week and a half into summer workouts, which means the 2025-26 season is rapidly approaching.

As the season draws nearer- I’d like to take a few moments of your time and highlight a few names that are currently going under the radar, but not for long.

Dorian Fauntleroy: QB Jupiter Christian 2027

Dorian Fauntleroy has all the tools to be a quarterback playing on Saturdays. He’s got the frame, the athleticism and most importantly- he’s got the arm. Fauntleroy found a new home at JCS this off season, and showed flashes of his truest potential during their spring scrimmages vs American Heritage (Delray) and South Fork.

Eagles’ HC Baz Alfred has had a pretty good track record with QB development over the years, and I am confident in the elevation of Dorian’s game. JCS will certainly tout a RPO style offense to get the most out of Dorian Fauntleroy in the air and on the ground. Pairing Dorian with sure handed WRs like Cayden Alula, Ryder Zuniga and Luke Beach as well as back field threat RJ Wilkerson will most certainly result in explosive offensive production every Friday night.

Offers- Arkansas, Western Kentucky, Rhode Island, UCF

Zachary Stelus: DT Spanish River, 2028

This kid is an absolute freak of nature. Spanish River DT Zach Stelus is a force to be reckoned with in the trenches. At 6 foot 1 (and growing), Stelus can get around the line and get into the backfield by any means necessary. Despite being young in his game, Zach takes up a lot of space in the trenches, and already possesses a deep arsenal of pass rush moves, specializing with a wicked bull rush.

Zach Stelus will be one of the faces of this revamped River defense headed into 2025.

Ryan Ferdinand: WR Palm Beach Lakes, 2027

I would just like to note before we get started- I’ve been on the Ryan Ferdinand hype train since spring ball started. Since then- Ryan’s absolutely dominated the summer 7on7 circuit, taking the top off at FAU and Keiser last week. Ferdinand’s big play potential matched with new Rams’ QB Julian Ayala’s love for the deep shot and a very favorable schedule is going to equate to fireworks all year.

Ryan Ferdinand can do it all. He’s got a solid control of the route tree, reliable hands, elite top speed and 50/50 ball potential. I expect a big season from him.

I’ll continue to say it- Lakes is going to be very fun this upcoming season. Before everyone bandwagons- remember who called it first.

Offers- Syracuse, Western Kentucky, Florida Atlantic

Melvyn Telisca: DB Boynton Beach, 2026

Palm Beach County’s reigning Interception leader is back and he’s ready to ball his senior season. Boynton Beach DB Melvyn Telisca was lock down for the Tigers last year. What do I find more impressive than 7 interceptions in a season? 3 of those came back for a pick 6. Melvyn does an incredible job of weaving through traffic and finding a lane to the end zone.

Telisca is the true definition of a lock down corner, and I think a lot of teams are going to realize they need to stop testing him, because it won’t end well.

Offers- St Thomas University

Jayden Morton: WR/S Dr. Joaquin Garcia, 2026

Jayden Morton is back at Garcia for his senior season, and he’s poised to go out with a bang. Morton’s connection with QB Caleb Butler might be the strongest on the team. Jayden’s appeared as Butler’s go to target throughout the summer 7on’s and for good reason. At 6 foot 3, Morton is a matchup nightmare for DB’s, and he WILL come down with that contested fade ball.

There we have it. Five names to get familiar with before their inevitable breakout campaigns. Did I miss anyone? Should I do a part two? Leave a comment
