PALM BEACH COUNTY/TREASURE COAST: On Wednesday night (April 19), more teams were eliminated from FHSAA state playoff contention.

And on that same night, we found out who all of our true district title contenders are.

Let us run down each of the five districts that feature our area teams:

CLASS 1A-DISTRICT 11 FINAL

No. 1 seed Lincoln Park Academy (11-2) vs. No. 3 seed Fort Pierce Westwood (9-3) – Thursday (April 20) at 5 p.m.

Location of 1A-11 title game: Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce 

NOTE: Both team won their district semifinal games on Tuesday (April 18).

CLASS 1A-DISTRICT 12 SEMIFINAL

No. 2 seed Somerset Academy Canyons (12-5) edged out No. 3 seed Oxbridge Academy (9-6) by a score of 6-0.

No. 1 seed Suncoast (8-3) vs. No. 2 seed Somerset Academy Canyons (12-5) – Thursday (April 20) at 6 p.m.

CLASS 2A-DISTRICT 10 SEMIFINALS

No. 4 seed Vero Beach (7-2) upset No. 1 seed Martin County (12-1) by a score of 32-12

Martin County may get an at-large bid in the FHSAA state playoffs

No. 2 seed Fort Pierce Central (10-7) beat No. 3 seed Jupiter (7-6) by a score of 26-7

CLASS 2A-DISTRICT 10 FINAL

No. 2 seed Fort Pierce Central (10-7) vs. No. 4 seed Vero Beach (7-2) – Thursday (April 20) at 7 p.m.

Location of 2A-District 10 title game: Lawnwood Stadium in Fort Pierce

CLASS 2A-DISTRICT 11 SEMIFINALS

No. 1 seed Wellington (12-2) beat No. 4 seed Forest Hill (13-3) by a score of 25-13
