We’re just a few weeks away from my favorite time of year- the start of the NCAA Softball Season.
As the season closes ever so swiftly, major softball publications from across the country have began releasing their pre-season accolades. It should come as no shock that the Florida Atlantic Owls, one of the nation’s premier ‘Group of 5 programs’ would be raking in the pre-season hype ahead of Year 4 of the Jordan Clark era.
Earlier this morning, D1Softball.com- College Softball’s most trusted publication- released their Mid-Major Top 100′ player power rankings, where once again FAU remains in the spotlight. As a whole, the American Conference features 16 honorees, with the Owls leading the way with 6 honorees, including two players selected in the top 10, another feat Florida Atlantic stands alone with.
FAU’s list of honorees includes as follows:

#25 Bella Foran (LF)
#35 Ainsley Lambert (RP)
#45 Chloe Yeatts (C/DH)

It’s almost time for the Florida Atlantic Owls to hit the diamond for the first time in the 2026 season. The Owls will open the season at home, hosting their annual Paradise Classic- featuring Indiana, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Stone Hill and Delaware the weekend of February 5-8th.
