Florida Football Announces Kickoff Times and Broadcast Info for Key 2025 Matchups

The Southeastern Conference and ESPN revealed kickoff times and TV details for four of Florida’s 2025 football games on Thursday, including the first three matchups of the season.

The Gators will open their campaign at home against the Long Island Sharks on Saturday, Aug. 30, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The game will stream on SEC Network+ and ESPN+.

In Week 2, Florida remains in the Swamp to host South Florida on Saturday, Sept. 6, with a 4:15 p.m. ET start on the SEC Network.

The first road test comes the following weekend as the Gators visit LSU on Saturday, Sept. 13. That game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET from Tiger Stadium and will be televised nationally on ABC.

Florida’s annual neutral-site rivalry game against Georgia in Jacksonville is set for Saturday, Nov. 1, with a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff, also airing on ABC.

Additional game times and TV designations for the 2025 season will be announced on June 11.

  • Aug. 30: vs. LIU – 7 p.m. – ESPN+/SEC Network+
  • Sept. 6: vs. South Florida – 4:15 p.m. – SEC Network
  • Sept. 13: at LSU – 7:30 p.m. – ABC
  • Nov. 1: vs. Georgia (Jacksonville) – 3:30 p.m. – ABC
