It is safe to say that Brock Michell is one of the MOST underrated players in 561. Mitchell is a 5’9, 180 lb, 2025 linebacker and running back at Park Vista.
Let’s do a deep dive into his stats. In just 10 games, Brock has had 60 tackles and 10 tackles for loss. On offense he has had 41 rushing attempts for a total of 227 yards. With an additional 5 pass breakups.

Mitchell is one of the few Palm Beach athletes to be invited to the All-Star and Palm Beach vs. Treasure Coast game. During the All-Star Game, he was awarded a $250 scholarship for all his hard work.
Not only is he dominating the football field; you should see him in the weight room. During the first weightlifting meet, he came first in traditional. He came first again against Wellington and reached his max on the bench of 270 lbs. In another meet he reached another max of 235 lbs for clean and jerk. With the way these first few weeks of weightlifting are going for Brock, we will likely be seeing him in regionals and even states!
Not only are his sports stats impressive, but Brock is also excelling in the classroom. He has a 4.1 GPA, is working on receiving his AICE diploma, and is a part of the automotive program. He isn’t just spending his time on the field and in the weight room, but also in clubs helping others. Brock is a part of HOPE and Best Buddies. These clubs help kids and peers who live life a little differently, meaning they are on the spectrum or have various disabilities.

Brock might have signed out for Park Vista, but he has recently put pen to paper when it comes to college ball. He is officially a Seahawk at Keiser University. When asked why Keiser, he confidently explained, “[Keiser and the coaches] showed me the most love and made me feel like I was worth something.” He also mentioned, “[Keiser’s] goal is to win, and I want to be a part of it.” Brock went on to say that Keiser “treated me very well, and they’re willing to have me evaluated on both sides of the ball to see where I fit.”
Where will Brock Mitchell be in the next 4 years? Only time will tell.
