Breaking News: West Boca’s star EDGE rusher Demetrius Geathers announces his verbal commitment to the University of South Florida. Geathers announced his commitment to the Bulls this evening (November 24) via social media.
Demetrius stated: “I’m forever a Bull, Thank you God!”
Geathers becomes one of the first local 2026 recruits to pledge a commitment, choosing the Bulls over programs like FAU, Pitt., James Madison and Liberty University. Demetrius pairs size with elite speed and natural athleticism to cement himself as a top prospect. He also possesses an full mastery of the pass rush moves, being able to keep opposing linemen on their toes at all times
Demetrius Geathers has been one of the anchors for a very talented West Boca Bulls defense, who have posted outstanding defensive efforts week in week out. During his junior season, Geathers has currently recorded:

Demetrius Geathers becomes the third commit in the USF 2026 Recruiting Class, joining 3-Star RB Qwantavius Wiggins and 3-Star LB Elijah Dias. The future looks bright for the Alex Golesh led USF Bulls, coming off of two consecutive bowl eligible seasons during his tenure as the Bulls’ Head Coach. Demetrius Geathers will immediately play a large role in an all new, physical USF defense.
