Hurricanes pass catcher earns himself an invite to the NFL Combine following standout senior season.

Miami wide receiver CJ Daniels has taken the next step in his journey towards the NFL, earning himself an invite to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Daniels announced his invitation early Wednesday afternoon.

The Hurricanes star receiver spent the first few years of his college career with Liberty and LSU before transferring to Miami, where he instantly made an impact and became one of Shannon Dawson’s most explosive playmakers.

His invitation comes after an impressive senior season, where Daniels brought in 50 receptions for 557 yards and 7 touchdowns. Daniels with Miami in 2025 proved to be a reliable weapon for Carson Beck and the Hurricanes offense.

The NFL Combine, which will be taking place on Feb. 23rd through March 2nd, will give Daniels the opportunity to boost his draft stock through skill events like the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, and pass catching drills. Daniels will be watched closely by scouts and team executives as he looks to evaluate his college production to the next level.

For Miami, Daniels’ invitation is another step forward and showing example of the program continuing to send talent to the NFL under Coach Mario Cristobal. For Daniels, it’s another opportunity for him to prove he belongs with the best.
