FSU basketball easily conquers the Green Wave of Tulane at the Orange Bowl Classic

SUNRISE, FL – FSU handled business this afternoon at Amerant Bank Arena in the Orange Bowl Classic versus Tulane. They won 77-44 in a game that was never close. FSU moves to 8-3 while Tulane falls to 5-7.

FSU led 37-22 over Tulane at halftime. At the half, Tulane only shot 29 percent from the paint.

The MVP of the game was awarded to FSU star Jamir Watkins, who had a stellar game. He shot a team high 29 points and went 19-23 on the free throw line. Some other stars of the game included Jerry Deng, who scored 13 points, and Justin Thomas, who scored 10 points.

FSU will travel home to play Winthrop this upcoming Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Tulane will travel home to play Dillard University next Friday at 8:30 PM.
