Ft. Worth, TX.- It was an afternoon to remember for the Texas Christian Horned Frogs. In a day that celebrated senior excellence, the Horned Frogs did just that. Before today’s regular season finale against Cincinnati- the Horned Frogs celebrated Jayden Pierre, Vianney Salatchoum and Trey Stuart as they suited up one last time in Schollmaier Arena. 

The Frogs led from their opening leap and never looked back, dominating early. As a collective, TCU would finish the afternoon shooting 44% from the field, with Pierre commanding the charge with 18 points (7/11 FG), 5 rebounds and 5 assists (+18).  Jayden Pierre’s finale from Ft. Worth was supplemented by a 13 point, 4 rebound day from junior Liutauras Lelevicius off the bench. 

As for Cincinnati, the Bearcats were led by DayDay Thomas, who accumulated 19 points and 4 rebounds. Cinci. would boast 3 starters in double figures, as Jalen Celestine recorded 12 points and 4 assists, and Jizzle James supplemented another 11 points. 

The thankless work of rebounding will be highlighted in this piece, as Cincinnati’s Baba Miller recorded 14 rebounds, with 12 coming from defensive boards. 

Texas Christian has now ended the 2025-26 regular season 21-10 (11-7 B12). The Horned Frogs will stand as the 6 seed in the Big-12 Tournament, earning a first round bye. The Hypno-Toads will play their first game on Wednesday March 11 vs the winner of #11 seed v #14 seed. Tip-Off is slated for 6:30PM on ESPNU.

Cincinnati falls to 17-14 (9-9 B12). The Bearcats will stand as the 7 seed in the Big-12 Tournament, as they’ll face the winner of #10 seed v #15 seed State on Wednesday, March 11.
