Boca Raton, FL – With the High School football offseason in full swing, we’ve got our first major news break. The West Boca Raton Bulls are set to host the Chaminade-Madonna Lions to begin the 2025 season.

The game will take place on August 14th at West Boca Raton HS. The two heavyweights are arguably the two best teams in the state. Both winning 2024 state championships in their respective classes.

West Boca comes off of a 15-0 season ending in a 26-7 State Championship win over Osceola. The Bulls return many key players including RB Javian Mallory and WR Mark Hanniford on offense. In addition, the Bulls return Jaydin Broadnax and Xavier Reid on the defensive side.

In addition to returners, West Boca is bringing in loads of talent, including QB Omari McNeal, who will transfer over from Blanche Ely (via marxdsgn).

On the other hand, Chaminade comes off of their 4th Straight state championship. The South Florida goliath returns many key starters as they look to go for the 5-peat in 2025. In 2024, Chaminade started the season with two close losses and a close win over American Heritage. These games battle-tested the Lions as they cruised through the remainder of the schedule, outscoring opponents 259-19 in the state tournament.

This game will be the biggest game of 2025 Kickoff Classic week and will be a good opportunity for these two reigning state champions to see where they’re at and make a national statement.
