Boynton Beach and Garcia went scoreless in the first quarter as both teams strung together solid drives but failed to put points on the board.

Momentum swung early in the second quarter when Garcia Bulldogs cornerback Sherwins Raymond intercepted Boynton Beach quarterback Chris Siska, giving Garcia great field position. The Bulldogs capitalized late in the half. With 2:30 left, running back D’Angelo Murph powered his way into the end zone to tie the game at 7–7.

Just before the break, Garcia struck again. With only 14 seconds left in the half, quarterback Caleb Butler threw a perfect over-the-shoulder pass to Vincent Lewis for a touchdown, sending Garcia into halftime with a 14–7 lead and all the momentum.

Boynton Beach responded quickly after the half. Siska connected with Bentley Ware-Robinson, igniting the home crowd and pulling the Tigers within one at 14–13.

But Garcia answered right back. With under three minutes left in the third quarter, Butler threw his second touchdown of the night, this time finding Mike Sineace to extend the Bulldogs’ lead to 21–13. Moments later, Garcia’s Dominic Luchina scooped up a Tigers’ fumble and rumbled into the end zone with 25 seconds left in the quarter, pushing the lead to 28–13 in a major momentum swing.

Boynton refused to fold. Ware-Robinson intercepted Butler to stop another Garcia drive, then hauled in his second touchdown reception of the night from Siska. The Tigers converted the two-point try as Jaiden Moise muscled in from half a yard out, trimming the deficit to 28–21.

The Tigers’ defense stiffened in the fourth quarter. Andrew Martin recovered a Garcia fumble with 2:30 left, giving Boynton a final shot.

Garcia’s defense rose to the occasion when Jere-Miah Celian delivered a critical sack to stop the Tigers’ last drive, and the Bulldogs ran out the clock to secure the 28–21 win.

Garcia (4–2) now looks ahead to a matchup with the Wellington, while Boynton Beach (3–3) will regroup against play Northeast.
