PALM BEACH COUNTY – The regular season is about to reach its climax point.
All regular season games will end either tonight (Jan. 27) or tomorrow (Jan. 28), if they have not already happened with our Palm Beach County girls basketball teams.
For top-ranked King’s Academy (18-4), its regular season ended last night (Jan. 26) at home against Wellington (11-13). It resulted in a 56-21 win.
Lady Lions senior Janessa Williams reached the 1,000-point milestone on Senior Night, as she helped lead her team to victory.
As a result of this win, King’s Academy will remain at No. 1.
And just to make this crystal clear, our second set of rankings come exclusively from MaxPreps. And moving forward, all weekly rankings from next week until the end of February will be based on MaxPreps.
