West Palm Beach, FL.- BREAKING NEWS: Cardinal Newman 3-Star RB Jaylin “JBo” Brown has announced his commitment and signed his National Letter of Intent to Pitt University!
“I’d like to thank God, my family, my coaches and my teammates for guiding me along this journey.” Brown stated. “Without you all, I would not be in this position that I am blessed to be in today. For the next three to four years, I am planning on continuing my academic and athletic career at Pitt University. Go Panthers and forever HailtoPitt!”
Brown, a 6 foot 1 workhorse back has been one of the top pieces of offensive production for the Cardinal Newman Crusaders all season long. Jaylin Brown was previously committed to Louisville since the middle of the summer, before reopening his recruitment process a few short weeks ago. Jaylin fielded calls from multiple power programs, including Georgia Tech, Kentucky, NC. State and Boston College, who were amongst his final decisions in May.
In 11 games played during his senior season, Jaylin has pounded the rock every night, dominating opposing defenses. J-Bo currently holds 1,100 yards from scrimmage, alongside 17 rushing touchdowns and 200 yards and a score in the receiving game. Brown is a shifty three down back, who can absorb contact and continue churning his legs. Jaylin possesses natural frontline track speed and agility, which paired with his reliable hands, has molded him into the true archetype of the modern running back. Brown’s big play potential is unmatched, so pairing him with an offense that boasts multiple playmakers across the field is a coach’s dream.
The late addition of Jaylin Brown to Pitt’s 2025 recruiting class solidifies the Panthers as a top 50 National class (per 24/7 Composite). Brown will be joining a loaded offensive class, including 3-Star WRs Bryce Yates and Kha’leal Sterling, alongside 3-Star RB Synkwan Smith and 3-Star QB Mason Heintschel.
This is an electric pickup for the Panthers, and Coach Pat Narduzzi and the crew should be absolutely fired up for the signing of Jaylin Brown.
