Miami announces three more kick off times/TV networks for the 2026 season as the September slate is officially filled

The Miami Hurricanes on early Wednesday announced three more kickoff times for the 2026 football season, filling out the entirety of Septembers schedule.

Miami’s home opener on Thursday, September 10th against Florida A&M will kick off at 8 P.M. EST on ACC Network, giving the Hurricanes a standalone primetime game in week two. The following week, the Canes will travel to Wake Forest for their 3rd straight weekday game of the season with a Friday night showdown against the Demon Deacons on September 18th at 7:30 P.M. EST on ESPN before heading back home September 26th for their first Saturday matchup of the season against Central Michigan at 6:30 P.M. EST on The CW.

The announced times for the Hurricanes join the matchup that was confirmed a few weeks ago for their week one season opener on the road against Stanford that is set for Friday, September 4th at 9:00 P.M. EST on ESPN.

With the four games filling out Miami’s slate of September matchups officially announced, the only other game on the Hurricanes schedule outside of first month of action that has been confirmed is the biggest test of the season on November 7th on the road against Notre Dame, which has been announced as a 7:30 P.M. EST primetime kickoff on NBC/Peacock.

Other than that, there are now 7 remaining games waiting for kickoff time confirmation. Some of these are expected for announcement before the season begins, while others later in the season will be announced on a weekly basis like usual.

While none of the newly announced windows are massive national showcases, Miami is still set to receive a good amount of exposure nationally throughout the first month of the season following their CFP National Championship run in 2025-26.

And mentioned before, the schedule setup also means Miami will play a bizarre first month, having their first three games outside of the traditional Saturday slot.

Just 100 days remain until Miami’s kickoff against Stanford. Until then, let the countdown to Miami football begin.
