Earlier this morning, Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans were provided with an injury update for their star WR Chris Godwin.
Per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Godwin will ‘not participate in team related activity to begin Training Camp. He will continue to rehab with trainers.’

As a reminder, Chris Godwin suffered a devastating dislocated ankle injury late in their Week 7 41-31 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Godwin’s injury was so significant the TV broadcast refused to show video replay, and he was carted off the field moments later. Chris Godwin would later require surgery that shut him down for the remainder pop the 2024-25 season.
Before his injury- Chris Godwin was having a career season, standing 2nd in the NFL in receiving yards with 576 yards on 50 catches and 5 scores. As previous reports have stated, the Bucs are expecting a fully healthy Chris Godwin ahead of their Week 1 matchup vs the Falcons.
