MIAMI, FL.- Jimmy Butler is one of one.
Last night (December 16), the Miami Heat faced off against the Chicago Bulls in a match for the ages. Throughout the game, the Heat and the Bulls squared off delivering blow after blow, trading leads in a beautiful offensive duel. One of the highlight performances of the game came from the young rookie star, Jaime Jaquez Jr. Triple J continued his Rookie of the Year presentation, dropping 18 Points, 5 Rebounds and 4 Assists.
Another storyline for the Biscayne Ballers came from the automatic three point shooting performance from Kevin Love. The vet made his presence known, draining 5/5 3 Pointers, scoring 22 on the night. During this performance, Love surpassed 15,000 career points, solidifying himself as one of the NBA’s greats.
As time wound down, the score was tied 116-116, and the Heat had possession. Jimmy Butler grabs a rebound, slowly driving down the court. As the clock drains, suspense built. Butler stares Coby White down, steps back and shoots a mid range jumper. The arena goes silent, the buzzer sounds, and the shot drains. The Heat win 118-116, and the bench clears, storming the court in celebration.
The Miami Heat rise to 15-11 on the season. They will host Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, December 18. Tip off is slated for 7:30 P.M.
