October football has finally arrived, and the Jupiter Christian Eagles are looking like a championship caliber team.
Tonight, Jupiter Christian soared with a dynamic passing attack, spearheaded by a 17/17, 275 yard and four touchdown performance from QB Dorian Fauntleroy. Despite rainy conditions throughout the evening, Fauntleroy was adamant that he was going to toss the ball around the yard. The 6 foot 2 dual threat sniper looked calm and composed in the pocket at all times, and confidently connected on short, intermediate and deep shots, while leaving the opposing defense in a blender with his feet.
Dorian found his ‘ole reliable targets’ early and often tonight, as he threw two passing TD’s to Luke Beach, and another to Navy commit Cayden Alula, with his speedy slot receiver Ryder Zuniga hauling in the final score from the air.

By no means was JCS’ rushing attack neglected during the win, as senior RB RJ Wilkerson recorded 85 yards and two scores In the first half. Tonight Wilkerson extended his lead as the State of Florida’s touchdown’s leader, as his two end zone trip day now brings him to 19 on the season.
RJ Wilkerson was making forceful carries throughout the night, absorbing contact while driving through the defense for extra yards.

Defensively, Jupiter Christian was suffocating. Despite Tradition Prep’s run first, Wing T offense, the Pirates had zero answer for the problems the Eagles D caused. Defensive Tackle Duke Rimes shined from the trenches, recording one sack, three QB hits and multiple tackles for loss.
The highlight of the evening defensively came as freshman ATH Travis King blocked a punt and recovered the loose ball in the endzone, a play that sparked the inevitable feeding frenzy.

Following the game, Jupiter Christian HC Baz Alfred had nothing but positive reflections on the evening:
“We came out tonight and finally played a complete game…Offense got started right away and just kept their foot on the gas…Everybody got the opportunity to play tonight which makes me as a coach very happy.” Coach Alfred stated with his signature smile. “We’ve got special guys that do special things… at any point they can score a touchdown, and we’ve done a great job getting them the ball.”
Jupiter Christian flies to 6-1 on the season, with their next opponent coming next Friday night (Oct 10) vs Inlet Grove.
