WEST PALM BEACH – After pushing through a treacherous schedule the Seahawks are getting the recognition they deserve.

The Seahawks are featured at No. 25 in the NAIA rankings and rightfully so after only falling to No. 5 Bethel University and No. 20 Georgetown.

This Keiser squad isn’t perfect, but no one can deny the resume they have put together this far, especially with it being their inaugural season. Their record speaks for itself (6-2, 4-0 Mid Sun Conference), as they are currently riding a four-game winning streak.

Although there’s a buzz around this Keiser team right now, head coach Doug Socha put things into perspective about the Top 25 rankings and what it means for his Seahawks squad.

“Like I said before, those rankings don’t really mean much,” Socha said. “Obviously until the end. But on the other side of that like I told the team, I said you get yourself into late October, you want to be a playoff team, you’re going to be ranked and going to have to be able to deal with it.”

Keiser has two games remaining on its schedule and both are conference matchups. The Seahawks will travel to Ave Maria this week and then to Southeastern University to end the regular season.
