Kickoff classic games in Palm Beach County: Start of fall football season is official

PALM BEACH COUNTY – The offseason. The summer workouts. The camps and 7-on-7 tournaments.

All of that was done in preparation for what’s about to take place starting tonight (Aug. 15).

Even though this week’s slate of games is called the Kickoff Classic – you could even call it the preseason or even Week 0 – it’s nice to finally see our 35 area teams going after their opponents in pads for four full quarters of action.

Please note that no final scores for the kickoff classic games will officially count. Wins and losses should be taken with a grain of salt this week, depending on your outlook of the game itself.
