TAMPA, FLA. – The American Athletic Conference released kickoff times and television designations Thursday for several matchups in the 2025 South Florida Football season, presented by Tampa General Hospital.

Previously announced, USF will kick off its third season under head coach Alex Golesh on Thursday, Aug. 28, against Boise State at 5:30 p.m. inside Raymond James Stadium. The nationally televised game will air on ESPN.

On Thursday, USF also received kickoff times for two key non-conference road games. The Bulls will face Florida on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 4:15 p.m. on SEC Network, followed by a matchup at Miami on Saturday, Sept. 13, kicking off at 4:30 p.m. on The CW.

The final non-conference game, a home contest against South Carolina State on Saturday, Sept. 20, is set for a noonkickoff on ESPN+. That day will also feature the Tampa Bay Rays hosting the Boston Red Sox at 7:05 p.m. at Steinbrenner Field, which shares parking with Raymond James Stadium.

USF is facing what may be the toughest non-conference slate in program history, with three opponents ranked in The Athletic’s “Way Too Early Top 25”: No. 11 Florida, No. 15 Miami, and No. 21 Boise State. It marks the first time the Bulls will face three teams ranked in the Associated Press poll during their non-conference schedule.

The Bulls are set to play four weeknight showcase games this season, including three at home.

Conference play begins Friday, Oct. 3, when USF hosts Charlotte at 7 p.m. on ESPN2. The following week, the Bulls travel to face North Texas on Friday, Oct. 10, with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2. Followed by their homecoming matchup against in-state rival FAU Owls on October 18th with time for that to be announced.

After their second bye week of the season, USF will return to action at home against UTSA on Thursday, Nov. 6. That game will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2 and will kick off at either 7:30 or 8 p.m., with the final details to be announced.

The Bulls’ road trip to Navy on Saturday, Nov. 15 is set for a noon kickoff, airing on an ESPN network to be determined.

Final kickoff times and TV designations for the UTSA and Navy games—as well as most remaining matchups—will be announced weekly during the season through the conference’s 12-day selection process.
