Another top-tier wide receiver is heading to Chaminade-Modonna.

Western wide receiver Koby Howard is transferring from Western to Chaminade. The four-star wide receiver has 31 offers, including Florida, FSU, Georgia, and Miami, among others. According to 247 Sports, Howard is the 43rd best wide receiver in the class of 2025 and the 53rd best player in the state of Florida.

This past season as a junior, Howard had 65 catches for 1,065 yards and 26 carries for 224 yards, recording 12 total touchdowns on the year (despite missing three games).

According to 305 Sports, Howard said that “I’m trying to win a state title and keep the legacy going at the Nade”.

Howard isn’t the first star to transfer to Chaminade this offseason; wide receiver Jabari Brady (Monarch) and quarterback Zach Katz (True North) also transferred.

Brady, standing at 6’3, is a lethal wide receiver with offers from Alabama, Georgia, FSU, and Ohio State, among others. This past season for the Monarch Knights, the four-star recorded over 1300 receiving yards along with 10 touchdowns.

Katz, meanwhile, threw for almost 3000 passing yards, 38 touchdowns, and had just one interception at True North this past season. Those are eye-dropping numbers for a freshman. Katz already has offers from Miami and Ole Miss.

Chaminade-Madonna is coming off a state championship in class 1M when they recorded a perfect 14-0 season. Don’t be surprised if the Lions make it two straight. And we shall be on the lookout for other stars who decide to transfer to Chaminade-Madonna…
