The off-season of Levi Champion continues to trend to an all-time high.

Over the past two seasons, Levi Champion has dominated defensively, leading the State of Florida in tackles. During his junior campaign, Levi recorded 182 total tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions and 3 forced fumbles. Since the end of his junior season this past November, Champion was named as the Palm Beach County Player of the Year at the Lou Groza Awards, alongside taking home Defensive Player of the Year Honors from the Palm Beach Post, The South Florida Sun Sentinel and NewEraPrep. Recently Levi Champion was also named as the Linebacker MVP at the Rivals Miami Elite Camp and earned 7 new Division I FBS Offers.

As we bring in March and Official Visit season creeps closer, Levi Champion has begun the process of scheduling his first visit with a program who’s been around for the majority of his recruitment process. During the weekend of May 29th-31st, Levi Champion will be taking a trip to Lynchburg,VA. on an Official Visit with the Liberty Flames.

When asked about what stands out most about Liberty in his recruitment process, Levi had this to say:

“Liberty has shown me love since the beginning, being one of my first offers they really stood out on their belief in me….I’m looking forward to meeting the staff and getting to know more about their program. Also I want to see if I like the area and location….”

As Levi previously stated, the Flames have been big players in his recruitment since the beginning. On June 25, 2025- Liberty officially Offered Levi Champion, bringing in his 4th at the time.

When asked about what he looks for the most in his future home, pro-readiness is at the forefront of Levi Champion’s mind.

“The biggest thing I look for is a school that can help me accomplish my dream of going to the NFL, while developing me as a person.”

As of right now, Liberty is Levi Champion’s only scheduled visit, but expect Coastal Carolina, Navy and Middle Tennessee to be schools to stay competitive as his recruitment finalizes.
