DELRAY BEACH – Hans Presendieu has been a consistent force this season on both sides of the ball for Atlantic (Delray Beach).

In Week 4, the defensive lineman/offensive lineman recorded the following statistics in his team’s 44-14 home win over Boca Raton:

•7 tackles

•4 tackles for loss

•4 pancakes

The 6-foot, 225-pound team leader in the trenches was voted as our New Era Prep Lineman of Week 4 in Palm Beach County. He spoke on how he got the job done.

“I can say that my level of impact was important on this game because I got the job done on both sides of the ball on offense and defense to help score touchdowns and also cause turnovers,” Presendieu said.

There were three plays that stood out to Presendieu, who touched on them all in his way.

“I think my best play against Boca was either my pancake to open up Damarion’s [Alberic] big run that we scored on later or my quarterback hit that JP (Jayden Parrish) got the pick-six on,” Presendieu said.

“Or it was my tackle for loss to bring up fourth down late in the game,” he added. “Boca was looking to score off a turnover.”

Presendieu does not want to rest on his laurels.

“Thank you for acknowledging me as the Lineman of Week 4,” Presendieu said. “I’m gonna continue to bring pressure all season.”
