Miami moves up to No. 21 in latest Associated Press poll

CORAL GABLES – Make it another week in the Associated Press Top 25.

For the 20th consecutive week, Miami (1-1) is in the nation’s most prestigious ranks. And with its 77-0 win over Savannah State, the Hurricanes moves up a spot from No. 22 to No. 21.

Miami’s current appearance in the Top 25 is the 10th longest active streak in the nation. It’s also the sixth-longest streak in school history.

Also: Miami moved up one spot from
No. 21 to No. 20 in this week’s Amway Coaches Poll.

The climb back up will potentially continue with Miami’s next game, which will be on the road at Toledo on Saturday, Sept. 15. The kickoff is set for 12 p.m.
