Coral Gables, FL.- It’s great to be a Miami Hurricane!

Breaking news: Miami secures a commitment from West Boca Raton’s 4-Star RB Javian Mallory (2026). Mallory announced his commitment tonight (March 22) via social media.

Javian Mallory, a 4-Star PowerBack, is rated as a top 300 recruit and the #21 RB in the class. Mallory chose Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes between 50 other programs including Florida, Auburn, Michigan and Ohio State. When asked about what set Miami apart from every other offer, Javian stated:

“Miami is a school where I can come in Day 1 and compete for a impactful role. The relationship I built with the Coaching Staff is like no other. The culture Coach Cristobal is bringing back to the program is special, Im locked in with Miami and going to help build the best 26’ recruiting class in the country!!”

Javian Mallory is the prototype explosive back that can succeed no matter the system. Mallory’s a true three-down workhorse back who’s powerful running ability just wears down opposing defenses. Javian simply cannot be tackled 1on1, and most of the time even with a whole defense on top of him, he’s still able to keep the legs churning. While he’s such a threat from scrimmage, Javian Mallory is just as lethal in the receiving game, which will be a nice scheme fit in Miami’s RPO miss direction offense.

Javian Mallory becomes the 6th commitment in Miami’s 2026 recruiting class, joining 4-Star LB Jordan Campbell, 4-Star S Camdin Portis, 4-Star DB Jaelen Waters, 3-Star QB Dereon Coleman and 3-Star IOL Ben Congdon. Mallory’s commitment thrusts the U into the top 20 2026 recruiting classes, standing at #18 (per the 24/7 composite).
