NEW YORK – The 2023 NBA Draft has officially come and gone.
Last night (June 22), stars from all over the world gathered at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. to receive a life-changing phone call.
Members of the 2023 NBA Draft class include French superstar Victor Wembanyama, Alabama’s Brandon Miller, G League Invite’s Scoot Henderson and the Overtime Elite Twins Amen and Ausur Thompson.
Locally, the University of Miami had two stars – G Jordan Miller and G Isaiah Wong – drafted in the second round of the NBA Draft. Miller was selected 48th overall to the Los Angeles Clippers, while Wong was selected 55th overall to the Indiana Pacers.
Miller and Wong helped lead the Hurricanes to a 29-8 record in 2022-2023, which included a regular season ACC Championship and the first Final Four appearance in program history.

Miller is a 6-foot-7 guard from Middleburg, Va. During the 2022-23 season, he averaged:
•15.3 points
•6.2 rebounds
•2.7 assists
•1.2 steals
•54.5 percent shooting
•35 percent 3-point shooting
After the 2022-2023 season, Miller received Second Team All-ACC, NCAA Midwest Region All-Tournament Team, and ACC All-Tournament Second Team honors.
During Miami’s Elite Eight matchup against Texas, Miller was a walking bucket with 27 points. He went 7-for-7 from the field and 13-for-13 from the free throw line.

Isaiah Wong is a 6-foot-4 guard from Piscataway, N.J. During the 2022-23 season, he averaged:
•16.2 points
•4.3 rebounds
•3.2 assists
•1.4 steals
•44.5 percent shooting
•38.4 percent 3-point shooting
Wong’s impressive 2022-23 stat line earned him ACC Player of the Year, NABC Third Team All-American, Wooden Award finalist, Jerry West Award finalist, ACC All-Tournament First Team honoree, NCAA Midwest Region All-Tournament Team honors.
Isaiah Wong ended his career at Miami with 1,866 career points, which ranks him fourth in program history.
