WELLINGTON – He could emerge as one of Palm Beach County’s top sleepers this upcoming season.
He could also emerge as a player that many colleges want to have on their roster in 2021.
Remember this name: Brandon Frazier.
The senior-to-be athlete came into his own this past season at Palm Beach Central, as he tallied 10 solo tackles, 8 pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles. While this may not officially count in Frazier’s stat sheet, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete also caught an interception in last year’s preseason game against Miami Northwestern.
“It [my junior season] was good,” Frazier said. “I didn’t start every game, but I earned my starting spot after showing in games that I could make plays consistently.”
Frazier, who started 4 games at cornerback and 1 game at safety as a junior for Palm Beach Central, has earned interest from the likes of Ave Maria and Liberty. While he has not scored a college offer at this time, it is a nice start for the budding playmaker.
Frazier is currently ranked as our No. 5 bubble player in Palm Beach County. This primarily means he is on the cusp of having a true breakout moment at some point.
Frazier, who wants to haul in 8 interceptions as a senior this fall, spoke on his underdog status.
“I feel that people are going to say things and think things about you regardless,” Frazier said. “Honestly, I like being in the underdog position because it makes me work harder so people have to notice me on the field.”
We will be closely following Frazier’s overall progress on and off the field for the rest of this year and beyond.
