VANCOUVER, CANADA. – The space interpreter has landed in the MLS. After spending 25 years in Germany with Bundesliga powerhouse FC Bayern, Thomas Muller has agreed to terms with the Vancouver Whitecaps and will be getting the new chapter of his career that he wanted.
The news broke yesterday per Fabrizio Romano. Muller, who announced that he was leaving his childhood club at the end of the 2024-25 Bundesliga season, wanted to start a new chapter of his career by coming to play in the MLS rather than play in another European league. Although talks between Muller and many MLS teams had formed, nothing could stick, leaving many fans of the sport to wonder, was it time for Muller to retire.
