MVP of the 561: Luke Douglas, QB, Jupiter

JUPITER, FL.- Following the release of the 2023-24 Team of the Year and Coach of the Year, our New Era Prep team would like to award Jupiter High quarterback, Luke Douglas (’24), as the 2023-24 Most Valuable Player!

When asked about receiving this award, Luke said:

“This is a huge honor knowing all of the talent in Palm Beach County! Huge thanks to Coach Kradman and the other coaching staff for helping to put me in the best position to succeed on and off the field.” Douglas said. “I’m blessed to have the teammates that I had and to build the relationships that I have over the past few years. Lastly, I know that I’m not finished, and I can guarantee that whichever Coach or College out there that gets me, will get something special in me. No doubt!”

2023 was a special year for the Jupiter Warriors. This past season, Jupiter finished the season 9-2, securing their first district championship since 2004. In only his second season playing quarterback, Douglas took the county by storm, recording:

2,114 Passing Yards (New School Record)

21 Passing Touchdowns

298 Rushing Yards

12 Rushing Touchdowns

Luke Douglas also dominated on the defensive side of the ball, playing safety. He recorded:

21 Total Tackles

2 Tackles for Loss

1 Forced Fumble

3 Interceptions

Following his storybook senior season, Luke Douglas can add our MVP selection to the long list of accolades he’s received recently. Congratulations Luke, this award is more than earned!
