DELRAY BEACH – Your very own New Era Prep had the privilege to help assist in the 2023 EJS Block Party on Saturday, June 24.

EJS is a non-profit run by founder Emanuel “Dupree” Jackson. The EJS project is a big part of the community in Delray Beach, leading and mentoring young adults and giving back throughout the year.

Many local families walked from the comfort of their homes to attend. Others came out to enjoy the EJS Block Party festivities, which consisted of various vendors, food trucks, carnival-style games, a petting zoo, and many prizes to give away. 

This year EJS added a beer garden for adults.

New Era Prep was part of this year’s festival, interacting with locals through our football toss challenge. EJS allowed us to connect with student-athletes and their parents in a different setting from the high school playing fields. 

We were so humbled to have been a part of this wonderful event. We hope to continue to reach out to the community and work with the EJS Project.
