New No. 1 in New Era Prep Top 100; Pahokee dominates list with 13 entries

PALM BEACH COUNTY – We made a lot of changes to our latest New Era Prep Top 100 player rankings list for the 2020 class.

There was a swap at the top, which you’ll see for yourself in a moment. Also, we saw major strides from Pahokee’s senior class throughout their inspiring playoff run, which is why the Blue Devils have 13 players on this particular list.

While Pahokee dominates the latest Top 100, Palm Beach Lakes is not far behind at all. The Rams, who finished as our No. 1 team in Palm Beach County, now have 12 seniors who were deservedly ranked.

In our previous Top 100, both Pahokee and Palm Beach Lakes tied for the lead with 10 senior players each. Now, Pahokee added three more, while Palm Beach Lakes added two more of its own.

In all, these two supremely talented teams made up 25 percent of the latest rankings list.

Also, a total of eight players made their collective debuts in the Top 100, which represents a higher level of diversity – depending on how one could look at it.
