Tallahassee, FL: Out with the old, in with the new; Florida State announces new jersey number selections for the upcoming football season.

New Era Prep confirmed the information via FSU’s football roster via the FSU Athletics website.

Below is a list of FSU roster members local to the Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and Broward County areas, and what numbers they will be rocking in 2025:

(WR) LaWayne “Wheezy” McCoy: Miami Central alumni, Redshirt Freshman

McCoy previously wore #15 and now transitions to #7.

(DB) Max Redmon: Cardinal Newman, True Freshman, will wear #21

(K) Jake Weinberg: American Heritage (Delray); will wear #22

(DB) Ricky Knight III: Cardinal Newman, Redshirt Freshman; will wear #26.

(LB) Jayden Parrish: Atlantic (Delray), Redshirt Freshman

Parrish previously wore no. 55 and now transitions to #36.

(EDGE/TE) Luke Douglas: Jupiter, Redshirt Freshman; will wear #45

(EDGES) Mandrell & Darryll Desir: Twin brothers from Miami Norland, True Freshmen; Mandrell will wear #90 and Daryll will wear #93.
