Noah is currently a senior at Wellington High School and is a 6’0 200 lb outside linebacker (OLB) and middle linebacker (MLB). Not only is he making plays on the field, but also in the classroom. He currently has a 4.8 gpa, holds the Bright Future Scholarship, Florida Medallion Scholarship, a 1220 SAT, and is a part of Best Buddies this year.
Noah put up impressive stats early on in the season. In the first 3 games he gained, 12 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 fumble recoveries, and 2 QB hurries. Against the undefeated Garcia, he racked up 5 tackles and 1 tackle for loss, helping his team defeat the Bulldogs 7-0. Not only is he smart but also a strong player. Noah is someone you want on your side.
This year is all about “domination”. Noah wants to “go out and prove people wrong”. Wellington High is a school that tends to not be respected, or even be considered the layup team. Other teams go into the games thinking it is an easy win. But Noah and Wellington are tired of being disrespected. For Noah not getting the respect and recognition, “fuels [him]”.
There is more to Noah than just being a student and football player. At only 17 he has something that most adults can’t say they do, a business. Revanche is a clothing brand he created. He wants to connect the community with his clothes. For Noah being connected to the community “makes [him] feel good and like I am making a difference”.
There is one thing Noah stated to me that has since stuck with me. He told me “I’m going to be successful no matter what”. Noah only has 1 offer (Saint Vincent) but he assured me he will get more offers whether it is for his brains or brawn’s.
I know for a fact Noah Jean is going to make a big difference in the future, and I can’t wait to see where life takes him.
