With the 10th pick in the MLB Draft, the Miami Marlins selected Noble Meyer, a right handed pitcher out of Jesuit High School in Oregon.
Meyer was the top available prep pitcher in this year’s draft class putting up a dominant display his senior year, racking up 142 strikeouts and a 0.40 ERA. Growing up a Mariners fan, Meyer made the trek to Seattle for tonight’s draft. Soon he will be making his way to sunny South Florida, starting in Single A Jupiter for the Hammerheads as his road to the show will shortly begin.
