Boynton Beach, FL.- Somerset Canyons has shown that they are a top program in our area with a victory against the Key West Conchs last Thursday night. The game was a nail-biter from start to finish, showcasing the Cougar’s determination and skill.

Somerset Canyons is ready to make a name for themselves, as they currently stand at 2-1, in hopes of to picking up another win vs Inlet Grove tonight.

The Set, led by the QB/WR duo of Jayden Harrington (‘25) and Jayden Phipps (‘26) has been electric to start the season. Harrington and Phipps have been dynamite together, recording 70 yards per game.

Harrington’s dynamic playmaking has been on full display, as he knows when to use his arm or his legs in order to make plays.

Defensively, Somerset’s got one of the top young cores in the county, led by EDGE Rushers J’Von Hatcher, and Wiz Sterling alongside LB Marco Saberson and Ethan Hook. In the secondary, DBs Damari Jerry and Tay Briskey have been shutdown defenders, annihilating any potential aerial assault.

Inlet Grove will begin their trip to the Cougar’s Den. The Hurricanes are currently 1-1, hoping to spoil Homecoming, and pick up another win over Somerset.

The Hurricane’s top weapon is easily WR Anthony Gordon, who averages approximately 50 receiving yards per game. Gordon has shown his ability to be a matchup nightmare, as his game translates to all aspects of the route tree.

Gordon’s success comes in part from the efficient play of QB Robert Green III, who’s began the year methodically picking apart teams. Inlet Grove’s workhorse RB, Tony Richardson, has been pounding the rock for an average of 58.5 rushing yards per game.

Tonight’s game is going to feature a lot of fire power on the field at once!
