This Friday, September 13th, Glades Central from Belle Glade, FL, will host Moore Haven from Moore Haven, FL. It is a rivalry renewed, both teams being from the glades area. They have not played each other in over a decade.

Glades Central:

The Raiders are coming off of a 41-13 win over Palm Beach Lakes last Thursday night and are 3-0 on the season. They also won over Seminole Ridge in overtime 34-31, and Martin County with a score of 20-14 in the first two games.

In the air, they are led by QB Taj Barnes’, who has passed for 357 yards and 3 touchdowns over their three games. Wide receivers Chris Pompilus and Gregory King lead the team in touchdowns with 2 and 1 respectively. For the ground gain, running backs Ar’maud Stanfort and Jerrmyll Ray lead the way with 5 and 2 touchdowns respectively. Glades Central is on a hot streak to start off the season and are looking to continue that streak against Moore Haven.

Moore Haven:

The Moore Haven Terriers are coming in with a record of 1-1, and won their matchup last week vs Westminster Christian 22-14. They lost their first game against Nova 18-14.

For their air game, senior QB Ty Murray leads the Terriers. In the run game, RBs Zion Booth and Ayden Thomas lead the team. Team stats are not available at this time.
