PALM BEACH COUNTY – Several Palm Beach County high school football teams took the field Saturday in rescheduled games.
Here is the list of short recaps for our area schools that played last night (Oct. 1):
•No. 10 St. Andrew’s (4-1) at American Heritage – Delray Beach (2-4)
St. Andrews kept its winning streak alive as it rolled over American Heritage-Delray in a 42-3 victory.
Head coach Jimmy Robertson and the Scots are proving there are Top 10 worthy and here to stay.
Most importantly, St. Andrew’s is 1-0 in District 10-2M play.
In this case, every district win matters when it comes to FHSAA postseason potential.
The Scots will host North Broward Prep (3-2) next in Week 7.
•Jupiter Christian (3-3) at Somerset Academy Key (0-4)
The Eagles look to be back to their winning ways after taking care of business against Somerset Academy Key in a 62-7 victory.
Coach Baz Alfred and Jupiter Christian have a two-game winning streak going and look to continue that next week when they travel to Fort Myers and play Gateway Charter (1-3) in Week 7.
•Berean Christian (1-5) at Miami Country Day (0-5)
The Berean Christian Bulldogs have a lot to celebrate as they won their first game of the season in a 14-10 triumph on the road.

•SLAM (1-4) at NSU University (3-3)
SLAM is still trying to find its groove this season with their first-year squad.
NSU downed the Lions, 48-6.
SLAM will be on the road in Week 7 as it tries to capture its first win of the season against Miami Country Day (0-5).
