DELRAY BEACH, FLA. – “You have made football fun again”, one American Heritage coach exclaimed during the post game breakdown, as Heritage moves on to 8-1.
With what was supposed to be a Thursday night matchup that got canceled thanks to Hurricane Milton got moved to Monday night and treated the healing county so some good football.
Jupiter Christian struck first after a scoreless first quarter as Shea McMillan connected with Gideon Douglas on a 15 yard score to put the Eagles out front midway through the second, the offense opted to go for two but the conversion failed only giving Jupiter Christian a 6-0 lead.

Heritage finally got their response as Sean Siska punched it in from the three-yard line on a QB sneak to give the Stallions their first lead of the game with 1:18 left to go in the 2nd quarter.

After a stalemate first half, Heritage found their rhythm and took off swinging, midway through the third quarter, Sean Siska got his second touchdown of the game off another keeper. Extending the lead 14-6.

Heritage kept the momentum swinging their way as Siska connected with Trey Pisciotto for a 25 yard pass to stretch the lead even further, 20-6.
Heading into the fourth quarter, this game looked just about put away as Jaden Desir took off for a 35 yard rushing touchdown, solidifying a great performance on the ground from Desir.
With just about two and a half minutes left in the game Jupiter Christian showed some signs of life as Shea McMillian caught Luke Beach for a quick slant in the endzone, shrinking Heritage’s lead down 28-14.

Heritage didn’t let that score from the Eagles go unnoticed, almost immediately after getting on offense the Stallions pulled out the wildcard play as Mason Katsen went 45 yards to the house to put Heritage back out front 35-14.
With this win, Heritage moves up to 8-1, but they do face a challenge as they are in a shortened week with another game on Friday against Lakeland Christian as they celebrate homecoming in Delray Beach.
