West Palm Beach, FL — Earlier this weekend, NewEraPrep’s own Daniel Calvelli graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Media with a concentration in Sports Broadcasting.
Over the past three years, Dan has been a key member of the NewEraPrep team, providing both written and digital coverage of high school, NCAA, and professional sports throughout South Florida and New Jersey. Some of the notable events he has covered include the 2023 Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl, numerous Florida Atlantic University Athletics events, Inter Miami CF home matches, and New York Giants Training Camp.
Throughout his time with NewEraPrep, Calvelli has also embraced a leadership role within the organization, helping grow our student outreach program through his dedication, work ethic, and servant-hearted leadership.
While attending Palm Beach Atlantic, Dan steadily rose through the ranks of the Sailfish creative team, eventually earning the role of lead cinematographer. During the past two summers, he also worked with Army West Point Athletics as a seasonal football intern, where he had the opportunity to cover the historic Army–Navy Game in both seasons.
Following graduation, Dan will remain in West Palm Beach and will serve as PBA’s Assistant Director of Athletic Communications for the upcoming 2026–27 athletic year.
Congratulations Dan, we couldn’t be prouder!
