TALLAHASSEE – Was there ever any doubt that Chaminade-Madonna (14-0 final record) would win the Class 1M state title this year?
Absolutely everyone – maybe except for Lions in-state opponents on their schedule – thought the defending 1M state champs would repeat. And they were right in truly emphatic fashion.
It only took 30 seconds for Chaminade to score its first touchdown on Clearwater Central Catholic (13-1 final record).
Watch for yourself how it happened so fast.
En route to its FHSAA record 56-0 win at the Florida A&M University campus, Chaminade made sure to have the 1M state title out of reach early.
We will show you all the remaining clips on how Chaminade earned its 42-0 lead at halftime and more.
Just when you thought a running clock in the second half would be enough for Chaminade to prove its statewide supremacy, there was reminder of what no mercy looks like.
And with that, Chaminade-Madonna has reached the Class 1M summit once again.
