ROYAL PALM BEACH – The King’s Academy girls lacrosse team (8-4) has started off their season hot, averaging 13 goals per game.
One of the biggest parts of the Lady Lions success is the performance of sophomore midfielder Savanna Webb.
Webb is one of the best players in the country for the class of 2025. Halfway through the season, she has:
Goals: 21 (18th, Florida)
Assists: 4
Ground balls: 77 (4th, Nation)
Draw controls: 39
Caused turnovers: 22
Interceptions: 8
Webb’s biggest strengths as a player are her versatility on the field and a willingness to improve. She is obsessed with the game, and she will always find a way to get better.
Webb is one of the hardest working players on the team. During practice, lifting in the weightroom or while watching film, she does all of the little things in order to improve her game.
A vocal leader on the field, she is able to set up offensive plays, while also playing elite defense.
Her performances this season haven’t gone unnoticed, as she has been voted “Player of the Game” by her coaches and teammates twice this year.

Lacrosse is a staple in the Webb family. Savanna’s father, Jacob Webb Sr., is the head coach for King’s Academy men’s lacrosse team. Her two older brothers, Jacob (TKA ’21) and Zac (TKA ’23) have played lacrosse their entire lives.
When asked about the impact her family had on her love for lacrosse, Savanna said:
“I have been around lacrosse since the age of 3. I would sit and watch my brothers Jacob and Zac play lacrosse almost every weekend and was I mesmerized. Watching my brothers play and my dad coach helped influence the love I have for the game today. Everyday they constantly push me to get better everyday whether they know it or not.”
College recruiting for the class of 2025 opens up this summer. We are excited to see where this young star ends up!!
