The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine gave tight ends a national spotlight this year, and two players made sure everyone was watching: Kenyon Sadiq and Eli Stowers.

Both delivered performances that could change where they land in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Kenyon Sadiq Makes History

The former Oregon Ducks star came in with high expectations. At 6-foot-3 and 241 pounds, Sadiq ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash, the fastest time ever by a tight end at the Combine. That kind of speed at his size is rare and it immediately put him in the conversation as the top tight end in the draft.

He also posted:

  • 43.5-inch vertical jump
  • 11’1” broad jump
  • Elite 10-yard split

Eli Stowers Turns Heads with Record Performance

While Sadiq dominated with speed, Vanderbilt Commodores senior Eli Stowers delivered a performance.

The 6-foot-4, 239-pound tight end recorded:

  • 45.5-inch vertical jump (tight end record)
  • 11’3” broad jump (tight end record)
  • 4.51-second 40-yard dash

Stowers’ vertical jump was one of the best at the Combine. His size and athleticism make him a strong red-zone threat and dangerous after the catch.

After their performances in Indianapolis, it’s clear the race to be the first tight end drafted just got a lot more interesting.
